Geneva, Switzerland – The Geneva Centre for Human Rights and Democracy announced on Friday that Advocate Fadzayi Mahere, the Citizens Coalition For Change (CCC) Spokesperson, will be speaking at the upcoming Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy. Mahere is a champion for democracy in Zimbabwe, where she has been arrested multiple times for her activism.
Mahere has been outspoken about the human rights abuses committed by the ruling Zanu-PF party in Zimbabwe, where citizens have been stripped of their rights, dignity, and prosperity. She has dedicated her life to exposing these abuses and giving a voice to the voiceless who are trapped under oppression in her country.
“I look forward to speaking at this year’s Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy,” Mahere said in response to the announcement. “Zimbabwe was a jewel, destroyed by bad leaders who’ve stripped the masses of their rights, dignity, and prosperity. The citizens will take their nation back! We need new leaders.”
The Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy will take place on May 17th, and participation is free but registration is required. Those interested in hearing Mahere speak can register at genevasummit.org.
Advocate Fadzayi Mahere’s message is one of hope and empowerment for those who have been silenced in Zimbabwe. Her commitment to human rights and democracy has made her a powerful voice for change, and her appearance at the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy is sure to inspire others to join the fight for freedom and justice. The summit provides a platform for advocates like Mahere to share their stories and strategies for creating a better world, and we look forward to hearing her speak.
